HOW DOES IT WORK ?
VitalStrength Hydroxy Ripped is scientifically developed to maximise extreme muscle growth after an intensive training session. The 3 high Biological Value (BV) proteins of whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and calcium caseinate found in Hydroxy Ripped delivers a wide range of amino acids to help build lean muscle.

• Whey Protein Isolate is a derivative of milk protein. It is the best choice for post workout supplementation as the body can digest the short chains and peptides very quickly (about 30 minutes). Post workout is the critical time when your body needs protein the most and fast-acting proteins like whey protein isolate provide the necessary amino acids for building and retaining muscle tissue.
• Whey Protein Concentrate quickly replenishes the body with BCAA's (Branched Chain Amino Acids) for the repair and building of lean muscle tissue. It also contains bio-active protein subfractions to increase lean muscle mass and minimise body fat.
• Calcium Caseinate is a slow absorbing protein (between 2 - 7 hours) that provides a steady release of amino acids for muscle repair and growth. Calcium caseinate continues to feed muscles long after whey proteins have been absorbed producing an anti-catabolic effect.

This combination of three proteins will replenish your muscles straight after a workout and also prevent muscle breakdown hours after you have trained. To help promote fat loss and increase energy output, the following ingredients have been added:

• Hydroxy Citric Acid is a thermogenic ingredient which converts carbohydrates to glycogen rather than to fat, enabling it to be utilised as a source of energy.
• L-Carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria to stimulate the oxidation (breakdown) of fatty acids to produce energy.
• Chromium Picolinate helps facilitate the uptake of glucose into cells so that it can be metabolised to produce energy.

SERVING SUGGESTION
Mix 40 grams or 2 scoops (scoop supplied) into 400mls of skim milk or water and then blend or shake. Fruits may be added. Alternatively add to foods such as cereal, desserts or yoghurt to increase the protein and energy content.
Best taken between meals and/or within 45mins of an intensive workout.
