Maximising Fat Loss with EHP Labs Oxyshred

Oxyshred is a fat burner and energy enhancer, and most people either use it as a pre-workout or as a daily fat burner. Either way, the result is increased energy levels, better athletic performance and increased fat loss. But what's the best way to maximise the value of Oxyshred? How can you lose the most fat in the shortest amount of time?

AM Oxyshred

EHP Labs Oxyshred helps your body shift its energy usage from carbohydrates (either from food or from muscle glycogen) to body fat. You can give it every opportunity to do this by taking a full serve of Oxyshred first thing in the morning, before eating. Although this will bump up your already high cortisol levels, you don't need to worry too much if you've been following a solid diet program. You see, cortisol breaks down tissue, not necessarily muscle tissue. First thing in the morning, your body preferentially will break down fat, not muscle, especially if you've had a meal before bedtime. The additional amino acids in Oxyshred are muscle-protective as well, so at least until you eat, you should only be breaking down body fat.

AM Oxyshred + Cardio

The addition of a fasted cardio session will further enhance the effects of Oxyshred first thing in the morning. To benefit from this, take a serve as soon as you wake up, and then do a light-medium intensity cardio session - a brisk walk should do it. Don't overdo it, though, your body can quickly switch its fuel source to your hard-earned muscle. Try for 15-20 minutes, and then have breakfast.

Pre-Workout Oxyshred

In addition to the recommended AM dose of Oxyshred, the label also recommends taking a second dose on training days, in the afternoon, no later than 5pm. Oxyshred shares several ingredients with some popular preworkout supplements, such as carnitine, B vitamins, caffeine, taurine and tyrosine. This makes it a pretty good pre-workout powder as well. If you're taking a pre-workout and Oxyshred, it's probably best to take only one serve of each per day - you don't want to overload your heart and your thyroid.

PM Oxyshred

In short, don't do it! Oxyshred is a pretty powerful fat burning supplement, which means it's fairly strong stimulant-wise. Unless you work night shift, or don't sleep until 2-3am anyway, we wouldn't recommend taking Oxyshred any later than about 5pm.

Oxyshred + Diet + Exercise

This is the perfect fat-loss combination. When combined with a mild calorie deficit (around 10-15%) and a solid training program, Oxyshred will help you drop fat very quickly.
